Over £7.8M has been paid out in grants to 675 Gosport based businesses by Gosport Borough Council from the Small Business Grant and the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Business Grant funding provided by the Government in response to the coronavirus (covid-19) crisis. Gosport Crisis volunteer service launches appeal
People in Gosport borough are being asked to help raise thousands of pounds for the voluntary effort that’s supporting vulnerable people during the coronavirus crisis.  The Gosport Community Response volunteer service, set up by the council and GVA, is already allocating volunteers to jobs such as picking up shopping, collecting prescriptions or simply chatting to a lonely person on the phone.
