The Wetwheels Foundation

The Wetwheels Foundation is a national charity that aims to improve quality of life by providing an opportunity for disabled people of all ages to access the sea in a safe, stimulating and rewarding way.

Through specially modified and fully accessible powerboats, specifically designed for wheelchair access and reaching speeds of up to 40 knots, Wetwheels is all about having fun and excitement on the water!

Wetwheels Portsmouth based boat is delighted to be attending the Gosport Marine Festival and will be offering a number of trips free of charge to those with a range of disabilities and their carers, providing the opportunity for everyone to be part of the ‘on the water’ activities and experience the thrill of being afloat.

Wetwheels Solent is licensed to carry up to 10 passengers including 3 wheelchair users per trip.
