Yacht Racing Forum Update

The Yacht Racing Forum has released an update on the event scheduled to take place on 23 – 24 November 2020. The organising team has said it’s following the current global situation with great attention, and extends its sympathies to those directly affected by the pandemic.

Postponing the event is not being considered for the time being. Should the need arise to postpone, the confirmed partnerships for 2020, as well as early registrations, would automatically be assigned to the new event.

In a recent statement online the Yacht Racing Forum team states: “We are all facing a complicated period but we strongly believe that we need to plan for the future, make projects, invest. The Yacht Racing Forum is a B2B event. Its purpose is to bring people together and to promote business and our sport. This is precisely what the yacht racing industry – and everyone else – will need when we finally come out of this dramatic situation and the reason why we believe that hosting the Forum in November 2020 is important for the global yacht racing industry.”

A final decision will be made with event partner, Portsmouth Harbour Marine, in mid-June, based on the recommendations of relevant medical authorities.
